Delegated Decisions by Cabinet Members and Officers

Minimize

The Council is required to publish the decisions it makes.  All decisions which are made at a meeting of Full Council, Cabinet, a Committee or a Sub-Committee are recorded in the minutes of the meeting and published on the relevant Committee page of the Council's website.

In accordance with the Council's Constitution (adopted 19th April 2021), Cabinet Members and Officers have been given delegated authority to take certain decisions on behalf of the Council.  Decisions taken in accordance with the Scheme of Delegation are required to be published and can be found here.

Whlist the Council endeavours to be open and transparent about the decisions it takes, there are occassions when some information is exempt from publication under provision of Schedule 12A of the Local Government Act 1972.  Where an exempion has been applied to the record of decision, the exempt information will be set out in a confidential appendix.  Where possible the Council will publish a public version of the decision.
