Biography:

David Mann has represented Bocking North since 1983. On Braintree District Council he has served variously as Labour Group Leader, Cabinet member, Chair or Vice- Chair of Committees, Working Groups and Partnerships, also representing BDC on a number of external bodies.

 

He has been active in the Braintree and Bocking community for fifty years, with roles as Trustee, Chair, Vice-Chair, Director or member of local charities, groups and organisations covering education and young people, sport and leisure, law and order, housing and homelessness and local services. Currently he is involved in, for example, Bocking United Charities, Braintree United Charities, the Friends of Braintree Community Hospital, the Tabor Centre and the local community work of the Salvation Army.
