I moved to Witham from Chelmsford seven years ago, and quickly felt part of the community. I joined the Witham and Braintree green party as I have always supported the green party for many years. I have worked as a pharmacy technician for most of my working life, as well as being a mother. In 2007 I was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis, which in itself has been challenging but it has also given me the chance to look at the priorities in my life.
I was elected in May 2019,for Witham Town Council and Braintree District Council. I am Councillor for Witham North Ward. I intend to be the voice of the residents and work alongside my colleagues both at Town and District Council to provide a safe, and enjoyable place to live and encourage the protection of the wildlife, and biodiversity within the district.
My hobbies include walking my dog, being outside, and enjoying nature. I also enjoy vegan cooking.
